A two-time NCAA All-American, competing for both Oklahoma State University and Northern Illinois University during his collegiate career. He is a Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational Champion, a two-time Mid-American Conference Champion, and a member of the NWCA Scholar All-America Team. Wrestling is deeply rooted in his family, as his father was a college wrestler and longtime coach. Today, Izzak carries forward that legacy by bringing grit, discipline, and leadership to the athletes he mentors.

Smith is widely regarded as one of the greatest American wrestlers of all time. Over a six-year span from 1986 to 1992, he dominated the world stage, winning two Olympic gold medals, four World titles, and becoming the first American to claim six consecutive world-level championships. A two-time NCAA Champion for Oklahoma State, he amassed 90 straight collegiate victories and later earned honors including the James E. Sullivan Award and FILA’s Wrestler of the Year.

Following his legendary career on the mat, Smith led Oklahoma State as head coach for three decades, capturing five NCAA team titles and mentoring dozens of All-Americans and national champions. Now serving as a Volunteer Assistant Coach with the Cowgirls, he brings unmatched experience, technical mastery, and passion for advancing women’s wrestling.

Roper has been immersed in wrestling her entire life, growing up in a family of coaches, competitors, and fans. She began her professional career at the National Wrestling Hall of Fame Dan Gable Museum, where she advanced from Assistant to the Director to Museum Manager, leading operations, events, and community engagement. In 2025, Roper became Executive Director of OSU Cowgirl Wrestling, where she focuses on program growth, fundraising, and building a culture of grit, leadership, and opportunity.
